Sites

The entire complex is designed to enhance nature with electrical lines installed underground. The campground sits on 11 forested acres. One large group site accommodates 30 people and a 2nd group site accommodates 20 people. All sites have a fire ring and picnic table.

Float Business

Floating on this pristine river is a treat for beginner and advanced paddlers. The river flows at three to four miles per hour during normal river levels. The most popular time to do a canoe float is from late April to late October, mid-summer being the busiest time. For more peaceful floats, Sunday thru Friday is the best time to see wildlife and to enjoy the northern woods. Fall color trips are also available. River trips range in length from 1 ½ hours to a 6-day adventure to Lake Huron. There is a wide selection of kayaks to choose from. This stretch of the river is also world famous for its trout fishing.
